Live Trees vs. Artifical Trees

The debate continues. Should I purchase a live tree or an artificial tree? The below chart should help you choose - from our strictly biased viewpoint.

Artificial Trees Live Trees
Plastic will burn quickly and melt.
Fire Hazzard
Will not burn until dry. Live trees take months to dry.
You can easily shell out $150-$250 for a fine looking tree.
Cost
At $20 a year, you can choose your own live, cut tree, one a year for the next 8-14 years.
Do you really enjoy seeing the same tree each year?
Tradition
Bring the kids and enjoy picking your own tree! more
None.
Smell
We sell trees that can smell citrisy, woodsy, or nothing.
Plastic can not be degraded on its own.
Biodegradable
A dead real tree on the other hand is good for the soil.
Retail stores carry approx. 3-5 different looking trees.
Choice
How about having 10,000 trees to choose from? more
