Blue Spruce Tree Colorado Blue Spruce. Picea pungens 'Glauca'. Leading ornamental tree among the spruces. Dense, conical evergreen with stout, prickly three-quarter to one and one-quarter inch needles. An excellent Christmas tree.

The Blue Spruce is the king of quality. Each Blue Spruce tree on our farm is shaped to perfection - from the bottom up. We have kept our stock at perfect shape. In general the Blue Spruce species is one of the slowest growers. It takes more than nine-ten years for a Blue Spruce tree to "mature." We can gladly transplant these prickly guys, they make a spledid addition to any yard - or a great Christmas tree. See for yourself.
